The family is one of nature’s masterpieces.

Sundays are very special to me and I’m sorry that I have to miss every other one for work. I’m not a Christian, I’ve never gone to church and don’t intend to unless Rose gets curious one day and wants to. Sundays are special to me because the family spends all day together. Generally, Natalie, Rose and I will go to the farmer’s market. It’s a great place for us to spend time.. They have plenty of food and things to see, and a lot of different people which Rose loves to look at.

After that, we do our weekly grocery shopping, come home and prepare to make my wife’s delicious Sunday pot roast. The point is, we are all together. We rarely make any type of plans and just go with the flow. If we do invite anybody over to hang out or eat with us, it’s other family members.

So our Sundays generally end up being a religion all their own.. Spending time with the family. It’s something that we all look forward to every week and hopefully will continue to do so for a long time.

Great concise post, Joshua. Your Sundays sound better than anything religion or a church could give you. Glad you’re enjoying your family. I’m enjoying reading your posts.
